Club Member Greg Surrena Passing

We received notification of the passing of long-time, and very active member Greg Surrena. Greg joined the Club in April 1994 and became involved in the Club serving as the Safety Officer, and later helped with the (then blue badge) club-wide Range Safety Orientation class for all members.

Greg became an Active member 03/03/03, served on various committees and was a tremendous asset to our then very large Sighting-In Days along with helping with Fall Festival.

Greg was a fixture at the Club, and many of us know his son Ando. Greg’s son Jim served as Club Manager for a brief term quite some time ago, and Ando grew up at FR&GC with his father working in the Pro Shop, on the shotgun fields, and assisting Greg with many Club events. Greg was passionate about FR&GC and swapped his Active membership with his son Ando’s Associate membership July 2021. Quite a family legacy with the Club.
